Its most important application in textile industry is in draughting zone during draughting of yarn r fabric. This enables to control the speed of draughting rollers & to measure the draught of the fabric or yarn. As draughting is the ratio of initial speed of the material rolling through the rollers to that of final speed. By measuring speeds with the help of tachometer we can find the draught and hence by speed control draughting may be controlled.
